News from the Dutch Freecard collectors.

The 29th International Freecard Day at Culemborg (Holland) will be on Sunday 22 April 2012

On 1 October 2008 the Dutch Freecard collectors have decided to continue
separately from the VDP (Society of Dutch Picture Postcards).
They have become an independent society of collectors. After having
discussed their plans with Boomerang Media, the Boomerang Fanclub was
founded with the full cooperation of Boomerang Media Amsterdam!

We will continue to organise our well-known Dutch Freecard Days in
Culemborg, our yearly freecard catalogue etc etc.

Hello Ton,

Thank you for the update.

I hope you are well.

We finally have a buyer for our house. If things go through we should be moving in the next two months. So there has not been a major problem so far but with today’s financial situation you never know.

But the good new is that once we move I plan to come to your next Freecard Day. I will not be able to come in March but I should make the next one. Hopefully I will be able to bring my family with me to see your beautiful country.

Other good freecard news is I am acquiring a large private freecard collection in the US. There should be as many as 2 million cards. When I come to Holland next time I hope to bring a nice selection to swap.

I have just received and read your mail and I thank you for the information.    I will not be able to attend on March 8th due to a prior commitment.   I am pleased to note the email address which I shall use to obtain information.    Will there be a Fair at Barneveld in September ?  I hope the March meeting is very successful.
